What to keep in mind when creating a character

Exalts gain 15 Bonus Points as part of character creation. Some character capabilities become significantly more difficult to improve after character creation.

While it is possible to give instruction in Charms, most Chosen, and certainly most Solars, develop their own Charms through instinctive cultivation of skill rather than through rigorous practice. As such, while Charms can certainly be trained like any other skill, many characters ‘train’ their Charms by exercising the Ability in question under duress.”

Character Creation via Experience

Creating a character via experience allotment is possible, but not a 1:1 conversion. Characters can be created to align with stock characters for anywhere between 766 and 1091 experience.

These values assume the experience is spent to reproduce the same expenditure per section (attribute, ability, etc…) as the core character creation rules dictate. This is explained here:
